Revised Technical Specification Paoes By letter dated September 19,1997, Boston Edison Company submitted proposed changes to the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Technical Specifications (TS) to relocate the Radioactive Effluent Technical Specifications and the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program to the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual in accordance with the recommendations of Generic Letter 89-01 and NUREG 1433. In order to minimize future revisions to plant programs and procedures, changes to other sections were also proposed to align the current TS with NUREG 1433.
The subsequent NRC review of this submittal determined additional revisions to the proposed TS would be appropriate to improve certain sections. The ravisions discussed with your staff on June 3,1998, have been incorporated into pages 3/4.8.1 and 2, B3/4.8-1,4,5,
- 6. and 7, and 5.0-7 of the " Revised Technical Specification Pages" of our submittal (Attachment B). We are providing a complete set of " Revised Technical Specification Pages" with change burs applied (original did not have change bars).
These revisions are editorialin nature and do not affect the conclusions previously submitted regarding our determination of no significant hazards consideration.
