RANCHO SEC0 NUCLEAn GENERATING STATION - WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUESTS (TAC NOS. 56688, 61868 and 61872)
Dear Mr. Firlit:
By letters dated December 12, 1984, as revised July 27,19FB; June 13, 1986; and June 13, 1986, as supplemented January 20, 1987, you applied for three separate amendments to the Fac lity Operating License No. DPR-54 The proposed changes would have modified tne facility technice! specifications pertaining to (1) deletion of the non-radiological items conti.ined within Appendix B of the Rancho Seco Technical Specifications; (2) administrative changes to correct inconsistencies in the Technical Specifications noted by in-house reviews and an NRC inspection (Inspection Report No. 50-312/85-11), and changes to the required boron concentration :n the Technical Specifications; and (3) License Event Report (LER) clarifications in accordance with the recommendations in Generic Letter 83-43, respectively. Subsequently, by letter dated May 10, 1989, you withdrew the three amendment requests.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License for the proposed change pertaining to LER clarifications with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
Notification of receipt of the other amendment requests had not been published in the Federal Register; therefore, a notification of withdrawal is not appropriate. Nevertheless, your request for withdrawal is granted.
