This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. R. J. Bailey
of this office on January 6-9, 1987 at the Limerick Generating Station,
Limerick, Pennsylvania of activities authorized by NRC License No.- NPF-39 and
to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Bailey with Mr. J. Franz at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspect-
ion Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspect-
ion consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Our inspector also verified the steps you had taken to correct the violation
brought to your attention in a letter dated November 28, 1986. We have no fur-
ther questions regarding your action at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required.
