]V Request for Additional Information Quad Cities 2 Torus Ring Header Problem Questions 1.
Provide a summary of the dynamic analysis of the torus ring header system subjected to blowdown forces.
Include information on math-ematical model and natural frequency of the system, forcing function of blowdown forces acting on the system, and dynamic response under various loading conditions.
2.
Describe tests for pressure distribution and wave propagation conducted at plant site, including procedure, instru=entation, data reduction and input for dynamic analysis.
Provide basis for determination of forcing function from test data and comparison between analytical and experimental results.
3.
Provide a summary of the stress analysis of the torus ring header system under various static and dynamic loads including effects of thermal variations, earthquake, stress concentration, blowdown, etc.
4.
Provide a summary of the fatigue analysis of the ring heade*, hangers and parts which are subjected to cyclic loads during blowdown tests.
Include information on frequency of tests, expected number of stress cycles, and fatigue usage factors.
5.
Provide a summary of the stress analysis of the torus wall in the vicinity of hanger pads due to vibratory action of ring header and hangers.
Include among other stresses the possibilicy of fatigue failure.
