Dear Mr. Murray:
This is in regard to General Electric-Hitachis (GEH) submittal dated March 6, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Number ML20066J977),
and supplemental information dated June 2, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML20154K650) providing the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an updated decommissioning funding plan for the Vallecitos Nuclear Center.
Our review of GEHs submittal has identified additional information that is needed before final action can be taken. The additional information specified in the enclosure should be provided to the NRC within 45 days from the date of this letter. Please reference Enterprise Project Identification Number L-2020-DFA-0002 and Docket Number 70-0754 in your response.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
