This letter provides notification of a planned ERDS software change scheduled to take place February 15,1999.
)
10CFR50 Appendix E, Section VI.3.b requires planned hardware and software modifications to the ERDS to be reported to the NRC as soon as practicable and at least 30 days prior to the modification.
To ensure Y2K compatibility for the ERDS system, we would like to make an upgrade to the ERDS server operating system and hardware. We expect to make only minor i
i changes to the software related to the communication ports and would like to schedule a i
complete retest at your convenience sometime after February 15,1999.
