SPECIFICATION AMENDMENT TO INSTALL DIGITAL RADIATION MONITORS FOR SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS, MA0234 AND MA0235)
Dear Mr. Ray:
Enclosed is a request for additional lnformation (RAl) related to Southern California Edison's October 17,1997, letter requesting NRC approval to install digital radiation monitors at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, f ilts 2 and 3, for both tralne supplying the containment purge isolation signal, included in this letter was Calculation J SPA 289, "ESFAS Radiation Monitor Software Common Mode Fallure Evaluation,' In this calculation, a number of other documents were referenced. To complete its review of the proposed license amendment, the staff will need certain of these referenced documents as listed in the attached RAI, Please provide your response to the RA! within 30 days from the date of.iils letter, Please call me at (301) 415-3062 If clarification of this request is required.
