Telephone Conversation Record Party called: Witness "Y"
11/7/84 4:00 pm Called and talked to his wife. He went to work and I was told to call back in the evening. 8:10 pm, 9:15 pm, 9:30 pm called but no answer.
11/8/84 3:00 pm Called and talked to his wife again. She said he would call me back tonight.
I gave her the NRC operator number and asked her to call me at home collect between 6:30-7:30 pm EST 6:45 pm Witness "Y" called and agreed to an interview at 8:00 pm on 11/13 or 11/14. However, he said that "I had told you guys everything I know and don't have anything to say."
He also mentioned that 8. Griffins (01) had been interviewing 20-30 TUGC0 employees onsite recently. Witness "Y" was also interviewed with the TUGC0 attorney present.
- 8. Griffin asked him if he had been interviewed by the TRT. Witness "Y" indicated that this question was hard to answer in the presence.cf a TUGC0 lawyer.
i 11/9/84 9:00 am Called and talked to his wife and confirmed an interview at 8:00 pm on 11/14/84 at the Granbury Inn Conference Room, Granbury, Texas.
11/13/84 8:30 pm Witness "Y" had left a message earlier and I returned his call at 8:30 pm. He said that he had called to say that he bad no desire to have further meetings with the TRT. He asked to cancel the interview scheduled for 8:00 pm on 11/14/84.
I asked him why, he simply said that he was leaving town for job interviews.
I said that we would not force him to be interviewed but in the event that he changes his mind, he should feel free to contact us at anytime.
