REVISION OF FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN (TAC NO. L31168)
Dear Mr. Sharkey:
This refers to your correspondence dated February 25,1999, by which you submitted certain changes to Sections 3.0,4.0, and 5.0 of your Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC)
Plan. We have completed our review of the submitted changes and have determined that these J
changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your Material Control and Accountir'g (MC&A) program, and thus, they were properly submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c).
Accordingly, the revision to your FNMC Plan is acceptable, and Safeguards License Condition SG-1.1 of your Materials License SNM-33 has been revised to include the revision of February 25,1999, and to read as follows:
SG-1.1 The licensee shall follow Sections 1.0,6.0,7.0, and 9.0 with all pages dated April 28,1995, Sections 2.0 and 8.0 with all pages dated December 8,1997, and Sections 3.0,4.0, and 5.0 with all pages dated February 25,1999, of its j
Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan. This Plan may be further revised in
]
accordance with, and pursuant to, the provisions of either 10 CFR 70.32(c) or 1
I 70.34.
Please note that two temporary Safeguards Conditions SG-1.7 and SG-1.8 are no longer applicable, and have been deleted. All other conditions to this license shall remain the same.
Enclosed are copies of the revised Materials License SNM-33 and the Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion.
