U.S. Geological Survey Triga Reactor, Docket Number 50-274, License Number R-113, Reactor Supervisor Appointment Purpose By way ofthis letter, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is informing the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission of a change of the person assigned the roles of Reactor Supervisor for the GSTR.
Background

officially notify the U.S. NRC within 30 days via written report.
Discussion A new Reactor Supervisor has been hired for the GSTR, Jonathan Wallick, officially assuming the position as of 27 April 2020. Christopher Farwell, interim Reactor Supervisor, has turned over the duties and responsibilities of the position. Jonathan Wallick held the position of Reactor Supervisor at the University of California, Irvine Nuclear Reactor Facility prior to joining USGS, and was a Naval Nuclear Electrician's Mate aboard USS Nimitz.
Action The USGS requests NRC review and acknowledge the information contained in this letter at your earliest convenience.
