Test of Prototype Vehicular Alert and Notification System (VANS)
Gentlemen:
In Reference (b), New Hampshire Yankee (NHY) provided information on the Public Alert and Notification System. As part of that transmittal, NHY indicated that a test of the VANS would be held by the end of April 1988, and suggested that the NRC Staff observe the test.
j This memorandum is to inform the NRC that the VANS test which had been scheduled for April 27, 1988, was cancelled.
