UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-354 PUBLIC SERVICE ELECTRIC AND GAS COMPANY 10 CFR 50.12(a)

EXEMPTION REQUESTS Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) submitted four requested schedular exemptions to 10 CFR 50.12(a) in a letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) dated February 25, 1986.

The requested exemptions permit the completion of construction, preoperational testing and post-test reviews for portions of the Radiation Monitoring System, Standby Diesel Generators, Traversing-In-Core Probe and Offgas System which will be incomplete at fuel loading.

The matters set forth in these requests are true and accurate to the best of my knowledge, information and belief.
