on behalf of Region III, I have reviewed the Proposed Rule, attached to Don l
cool's memo of April 16.
While we were not specifically requested to concur, this is to advise you that we support the proposal.
As discussed with Phil Brochman on May 5, Region III has direct experience of l
some of the issues involving poor subcontractor performance and we agree that clarification of the Rule to provide for improved enforcement options is a l
good idea. The specific language contained in the proposal appears to us to achieve the desired objective.
