Dear Mr. Cadou:
This letter is in reference to your letter dated February 21, 1990, requesting a device review for a X-ray fluorescence ash Model D26752. We have requested on several occasions that you provide us with written authorization to allow drawing numbers 026756 and D26752 be released and allowed to be attached to the registration certificate. Once completed, the certificate is available to the general public.
1 You mention in your letter that no public disclosure be made and have identified these drawings as " Company Confidential." These drawings are necessary for the certificate to be a usable document. Certificates are used by license reviewers during license actions, inspectors while performing inspections, and other agencies as a tool for determining conformance with regulatory requirements.
In particular, these drawings give this person (reviewer, inspector, etc.) a picture of the device that they are licensing, inspecting, and so on.
1 To date we have not received the written authorization.
If this information is not supplied within (20) days from the date of this letter, we will consider your application for registration of the device as having been abandoned by you.
This action is without prejudice to the resubmission of a complete application.
