The initial reactivity of Type III fuel is 0.06 - 0.074 k greater than for Type 11 but has only a small effect on the overall core characteristies.

The calculated peak clad towperature using the Istaria SCC 8 Criteria calculations is 22250T.

No ACES action is recsammended.
