Pursuant to 10CFR 50.90, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) hereby proposes to amend Operating License NPF-49 by incorporating the attached proposed change into the Millstone Unit No. 3 Technical Specification 3.7.14.

Description of Proposed Chanae Technical Specification 3.7.14 specifies the actions to be taken when an area y

temperature exceeds its temperature limit. The action taken is dependent on the amount and duration that the area temperature exceeds its limit. The proposed change to the Technical Specification clarifies the actions to be taken when the temperature i

exceeds its limit by an amount equal to 20 F and the actions to be taken when the duration exceeds its limit by a period equal to 8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br />.
