Dear Mr. Martin:
This is in response to your letter of September 26, 1985, which references our September 3, 1985 reply to your original correspondence of July 22, 1985. As you indicated there still remained two areas of the Indian Point Station Unit 1 and 2 Security Force Training and Qualification Plan that are not acceptable. On October 7, 1985, the Indian Point Security Adminis-trator contacted Mr. William L.
Kushner, of your staff, concerning this matter. In an effort to resolve NRC concerns, it was agreed that Con Edison would submit Revision 5 to the plan, which would revert back to using the training group titles of Access Control Officer and Search Control Officer and include Task #10 (Initiate and coordinate site response to contingency eve nts), to the tasks required by the Senior Watch Superviscr. We trust that these changes will be acceptable to the NRC.
