November 12-14, 1985, at your Nine Mile Point Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1,
Scriba, New York.
Discussions of our findings were held by Mr. Gordon with
Mr. Lempges and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representa-

tive records, interviews with personnel, and observation of the full-scale

participation emergency exercise by team members.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
