Dear Mr. Maiman:
This letter transmits to you ten copies of the Fourth Interim Report of the activities of the IE0G in overviewing the Braidwood Construction Assessment Program (BCAP).
As in previous reporting periods, we have continued to overview the BCAP by a technical assessment and review of BCAP documents, surveillance of the BCAP elements and activities, appropriate audits, detailed review of the S & L evaluations of BCAP observations, and by meetings and discussions to gain cl a ri fi cation.
These overview activities support our assessment that the Braidwood Construction Assessment Program remains technically sound and should provide reasonable assurance that the construction at the Braidwood Station completed as of June 30, 1984 meets design requirements.
This is the last of. Our interim reports on our activities in overviewing BCAP.
Since the BCAP is approaching completion, our next report will be a final report of activities of the IE0G.
In the meantime, should any item, in our judgement, require your immediate consideration, it will be brought to your attention promptly.
