This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. H. D. Chaney of this office
during the period June 24-28, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC Construc-

tion Permit CPPR-145 for the River Bend Station, and to the discussion of our

findings with Mr. J. Deddens and other members of your staff at the conclusion
of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection included the radiation protection program,
,
TMI action items, and radiation protection activities related to the emergency
l
l
preparedness program.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selec-
l
l
tive examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with
!
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
These findings are documented in
the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
l
identified.
