This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act, as amended.
I would like to obtain a copy of Inspection Report Number 50-142/83-03 (IE-V-589), reporting on an inspection of emergency preparedness at the UCLA reactor facility which occurred in August of 1983.
I would also like to obtain:
(a) any and all correspondence between NRC and UCLA relating to thir Report or to the August inspection.
(b) any and all preliminary versions of the Report.
(c) any and all handwri tten notes made during the inspection and/or used in preparation of the Report.
(d) any inspection plan used in the inspection.
(e) any and all records of site tours or other inspections related to emergency preparedness at UCLA in 1983 and 1984 The Committee to Bridge the Gap, a non-profit organization, is the Intervenor in the UCLA reactor relicensing proceeding, and we are requesting this material solely for use in that proceeding.
We therefose request a public interest fee waiver on production costs.
