Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (TMI-1)
Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Licensed Operator Requalification Program Clarification Response An evaluation of the revised Unit I Licensed Operator Requalification Program was forwarded to GPUN on October 19, 1984, requesting clarification of the records retention requirements which were in place for the requalification program. The retention of records in the licensed operator requalification program is detailed under a GPUN Corporate Policy entitled "GPU Nuclear Records Retention Policy" 1000-POL-1210.01. This policy requires that all documents relating to requalification training and certification of THI-1 licensed personnel and all personnel files for licensed operators at TMI-1 should not be discarded. A copy of this policy is attached for your refer-enee.
This completes the 60-day submittal requested in your October 19 evaluation.
You also asked if we would transmit any relevant information regarding our Basic Principles Trainer (BPT). This information will be provided in a separate submittal at a later date.
