1 USNRC Document Control Desk November 13,1995 Based Repair Criteria for Westinghouse Steam Generators Tubes Affected by Outside Diameter Stress Corrosion Cracking," dated August 3,1995. As stated in Reference 1, this request was made as a contingency in the event that the 3.0 volt IPC which Comed had previously requested in Reference 2 was not approved in order to support the startup of Braidwood 1 from the Cycle 5 Refuel Outage (A1R05).

Since the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) has approved the 3.0 volt IPC request (Reference 3), Comed is withdrawing the request to renew the 1.0 volt IPC for Braidwood 1.

Please address any comments or questions regarding this matter te this office.

Very truly yours, N
