Subject:

Semi-Annual Operating Report - Radioactive Effluents -

Errata Cooper Nuclear Station January 1, 1983 through June 30, 1983 NRC Docket No. 50-298, DPR-46

Dear Mr. Collins:

During preparation of the second semi-annual operating report for the Cooper Nuclear Station for the period July 1-December 31, 1983 an error was discovered in the plotting routines used to generate the Chi /0 and dose isopleths.

This error resulted in a rotation of contours one sector (22.5 ) counter clockwise from what they should have been.

The plotting program was corrected, and the plots contained in the July 1, 1983 - December 31, 1983 semi-annual report are correct.

However, the plots provided in Appendix C of the first semi-annual report for January 1-June 30, 1983, contain the same error.

Attached are corrected versions of Figures 3-20 of the January 1, 1983 -

June 30, 1983 semi-annual report.

Sincerely, M

Jay M. Pilant Technical Staff Manager Nuclear Power Group DGL/cl Enclosure cc Document Control Desk w/ enc.
