It is Entergy operat ions' unders'.c'iding that during the December 3 and 4, 1991 Joint raceting of the Advinry Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) subcommittees on Computers in Nuclear Power Plant Operations and Advanced PWR subcommittees, several general questions wert. asked concerning the Core Protection Calculator (CFC) Upgrade Projec' at Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 (ANO-2).
To assist the ACRS, Entergy Operations is providing the following for your information.

design change package which Installed the CPC upgrado. is an excerpt from the 10CFR50.59 evaluation performed for the upgrade.
Chapter 7 of the ANO-2 3afety Analysis Report contains a significant discussion of the CPCs if additional information is required.
