This Special Report is being submitted pursuant to the requirements of Station Administrative Procedure (SAP) 131A, " Fire Equipment / Systems s
Operability Requirements," and Section 6 of the Technical Specifications.
On December 7, 1991, smoke detectors in' Zone-000 in the Reactor Building spuriously alarmed and could~not.be reset from outside the building. Entry into the Reactor Building is restricted at this time due to the unit being at i
100% power. Zone 000 consists of. Room 12-08, elevation 495' and Rooms 63-01 SE & SW'at elevation 514'.
Compensatory action, monitoring of conta'inment-air temperature hourly, has been initiated as required by SAP-131A and a work request has.been submitted-d for repair during the next outage of sufficient duration, f
