Dear Sir:
The following is a Supplementary Interim Report concerning the subject damage and action taken to date. In compliance with 10CFR50.55 Paragraph (e),
the Philadelphia Electric Company reported this incident by telephone to USAEC Division of Compliance Region I on June 22, 1972 and sulaitted an Interim Report of damage dated July 7, 1972.
On July 20, 1972 the Reactor Pressure Vessel Top Fuel Guide was uncrated and dimensional checks were made which indicate that the bent member and certain others were pushed out of position. The unit will be shipped off site to a location where the special optics required for a thorough eramination are available. After the detailed scope alignment inspection is completed, repair procedures will be prepared, reviewed, and approved.
A further report will be filed, after definitive corrective action is determined. It is expected that this report will be sutaitted in December,1972.
