Dear Mr. Lear:
This is in response to your letter of March 7,1975, requesting supplemental data from operating BWR plants in connection with your review of recent occurrences of cracks in stainless steel pipes.
Transmitted herewith are 40 copies of a report entitled
" Historical Summary of Reactor Water Chemistry Through 1974, Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units #2 and #3" which provides the information which you requested concerning water chemistry data.
We plan to submit the information which you requested on cracks in stainless steel pipes in approximately four weeks.
Although the construction welding data is readily available the metallurgical evaluation will require additional testing to completely fulfill the request.
Also, a sizeable amount of photographic reproduction is necessary.
