APPARENT UNCOUPLING OF CONTROL ROD DRIVES.

Dear Mr. Giambusso:
In our letter dated May 8, 1973, reference 2 above, we stated that a report on the subject control rod drives would be submitted to you on or about June 15, 1973. This report is being written now, but it will not be completed by this date. A combination of General Electric and Commonwealth Edison personnel are writing this report. A heavy workload on both groups has slowed the preparation of the report. The report is now scheduled for completion and submittal to you by about July 15, 1973.
The three control rod drives have been disassembled, inspected, and reassembled.
The inspection revealed no new or unusual problems in
, these drives. These drives are now in dry storage.
