Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed is Amendment 5 to the Braidwood Station Environmental Report - Operating License Stage. This Amendment responds to oral requests from the NRC staff for additional information. The responses to these requests are contained in Q. Oral-1, the revised response to a previous NRC question (QE 290.8) and related sections within the report. These revisions, together with additional voluntary revisions to update and correct the report, cover material contained in the following chapters:
Chapter 2 The Site and Environmental Interfaces Chapter 3 The Station Chapter 4 Environmental Effects of Site Preparation, Station Construction, and Transmission Facilities Construction Chapter 5 Environmental Effects of Station Operation Chapter 6 Effluent and Environmental Measurements and Monitoring Programs Chapter 8 Economic and Social Effects of Station Construction ar.d Operation Chapter 11 Summary Cost Benefit Analysis AMENDMENT 2 QER 470.3 Three (3) signed originals and forty-one (41) copies of this letter together with forty-one (41) copies of Amendment 5 are being provided for your use.
