Incorrect Identification of Base Material and Weld Procedures on Piping Hanger Travelers
Dear Mr. Keppler:
In Illinois Power Company letter dated November 14, 1983 (ref:
letter D.P. Hall to J.G. Keppler, U-10106), your office was provided an interim report addressing the status of the subject 10CFR50.55(e) investigation.
It was anticipated at the time that approximately ninety (90) days would be necessary to complete the investigation and to provide a final report on the issue.
Illinois Power Company is presently involved in the final verification actions necessary to evaluate the adequacy of the investigation and the corrective actions taken.
It is anticipated that approximately thirty (30) additional days will be necessary to complete and evaluate the results of this activity, and to provide a final report on the issue.
