Design Acceptance Criteria (DAC) are a set of prescribed limits, parameters, and attributes relied upon by NRC in making a final safety determination on the acceptability of a particular aspect of a proposed facility design under 10 CFR Part 52. DAC are to be objective (i.e., measurable, test:ble, or
{
subject to analysis using preapproved methods) and are to he verified as a part of Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) performed to demonstrate the "as-built" facility conforms to the certified design.
