In accordance with direction of NRR project staff, GE is providing, cop (ies (25 total non-proprietary SSAR Amendment 35 and Certified Design Material CDM) Revision 4 to the specified NRR recipients listed on Attachment 1. Further, nine (9) copies are sent i
herem to the Document Control Desk. This is being done to accelerate the distribution l
process and ensure timely staff receipt of SSAR Amendment 35 and CDM Revision 4.
Except as hereinafter noted, this submittal,in conjunction with prior ABWR submittals, completes satisfaction of the requirements of 10 CFR 52.47.
SSAR Amendment 35 and CDM Revision 4 include changes resulting from resolution of the remaining FSER technical open items and from the following staff comments on Amendment 34:

SSAR Amendment 35 and CDM Revision 4 also provides information resulting from GE's continuing internal verification process which has been conducted in full compliance with GE procedures governing treatment of engineering documentation. GE's verification process is intended to assure that the reissued ABWR SSAR (Amendment 31) as augmented by Amendments 32,33,34, and 35 accurately reflects its design documentation, is technically accurate and consistent within itself, and accurately depicts the CDM. An affirmation letter complying with the filing requirements of 10 CFR 52.45(d) and 50.30(b) is attached.
Each copy of the non-proprietary portion of SSAR Amendment 35 and CDM Revision 4 consists of 1 box of 8-1/2 x 11 inch pages and one box containing the Chapter 21 large size drawings. The corresponding page change instructions and listing for the Chapter 21 drawings are provided on Attachment 2 r, :d 3 res,ectively. Each cop inci p, ages for the non y of CDM Revision 4 is included in the box 38-1/2 x 11 proprietary portion of SSAR Amendment 35. The CDM Revision 4 page change instructions are provided on Attachment 4.
Please note that part of Chapter 4 contains information that is designated as General Electric Proprietary Information. This information is being submitted under separate cover (Reference letter).
