Attn: M=nt Control Desk Page 2 In our letter dated February 13,1989 (Ref.1), PECo responded to Generic letter 88-14, "Instnment Air Supply System Problems Affectiry Safety-Related Equipment." 'Ihis response identified several actions to be conpleted and stated, in part, that "a summary report will be submitted by 60 days followirg restart from the next refueling cutage of Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Unit 3..." 'Ibe Nuclear Regulatory-Consnission (NRC) response dated May 23,1990 (ref. 2) stated that a sumary report on all actions taken at Peach Bottom and Limerick will be submitted in the Sumer of 1991.
Information on Peach Bottan outage dates was verbally supplied by us.
It appears that the Summer-of 1991-date was based on our inadvertent use of the PIRPS Unit 2 rather than Unit 3_ outage schedule.
Based on the current PBAPS Unit 3 outage schedule,.We anticipate that a final response will be subnitted in early 1992. 'Ihe current scluduled end date for the Unit 3 refueling outage is December 6,-1991.
3 To sumarize, based on our previous connitmnt and the current Peach Bottom outage schedule a sumary report on actions taken at IGS and Peach Battom in response to Generic Letter 88-14 will be suhnitted in early 1992.
We regret the inconvenience and misunderstanding caused by our January.10, 1991 letter.
