The purpose of this letter is to document an agreement to extend the implementation of TS 277. During a :elecon held between NRC and TVA on February 13, 1991, NRC agreed to extend the implements. tion of TS 277 from 30 days to 60 days. This extension will allow TVA the time needed to test the diesel generators required for Unit 2 restart and implerancation of this TS.

Accordingly, the new date for TVA's implementation of TS 277 is April 15, 1991.
