UNIMPLEMENTED GENERIC SAFETY ISSUES AT JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT On April 25, 1990 the staff issued Generic Letter 90-04 which requested infor-mation concerning the implementation status of certain generic safety issues (GSIs) at your facility. Based on your response to this Generic Letter, dated July 3,1990, our own records and discussions with your staff, we have_ updated our database on GSI implementation status. Tha results of this effort were presented to the Commission at a meeting on October 25, 1990.
The enclosure to this letter sumarizes the. staff's understanding of the current status of those GSIs which remain unimplemented at FitzPatrick.
We appreci ne the assistance you provided in responding to Generic Letter 90-04 and we encourage your timely completion of those GSIs listed in the enclosure.
