Background
Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company is in the process of designing, constructing and equipping the energency response facilities for the Zinner iluclear Power i
Station. f art of this effort involves a system for meteorology nonitoring and dose calculation nethodology. The applicant requested a neeting with the staff to assure what it proposes for this system will neet staff acceptance. The attendance list, neeting agenda and handout natorial are enclosed.
Sunrary Proposals for short-tern placement of meteorologiczl towers up and down river on either side of the Ohio River were discussed. Tbc purpose of these placenents is to identify possible air flow trajectories of any gaseous radioactive effluents i
from the Zinner Station.
tteasurenents on the prinary site tower could be correlated with these temporary neasurenents and the results factored into the dose assessnent nodel.
1 Results of the short-term program should be incorporated into the energench preparednesr. procedures if any relationships are deternined to better define' effluent transport from the site.
