DESCO'S JANUARY 25, 1982 LETTER TO H. G. PARRIS REGARDING THE REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON EQUIPMENT ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION The January 25, 1982 letter from R. L. Tedesco requested that TVA provide additional information regarding environmental qualification of equipment for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 to allow Franklin Research Center to perform a review for the NRC.
Information requested in items A.1.a through A.1.z of the January 25, 1982 letter is being provided with the following exceptions.
(1) Westinghouse Test Report NS-TMA-1950 (NEB)
Vendor: Westinghouse Reason: Proprietary -vendor to coordinate submittal of proprietary documents directly with the NRC (Reference 3)
(2) Westinghouse Test Report NS-TMA-2120 (NEB)
Vendor: Westinghouse Reason: Same as (1)
(3) NAMCO Test Report QTR-107 (NEB /EEB)

NAMCO Reason: Test report presently being acquired from vendor l
This completes the submittal of the qualification documentation requested by Reference 1 (items A.1.a through z) with the exception of the NAMCO test report which should be available for submittal to you by July 1, 1982.
Based on agreements in our previous telephone conversations, the NRC is to obtain the proprietary documentation.
