SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES Highlights Vermont Yankee operated at 99.3%
of rated thermal power for the month.
Gross electrical generation was 363,092 MWH, or 100% of design electrical capacity.
Operating Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of interest for the month:
2/1/81 At the beginning of the reporting period the plant ada operating at 90% of rated thermal power.
Turbine generator surveillance was in progress.
2/7/81 At 0700 hrs, a power reduction was initiated for turbine generator and control rod surveillance. At 1200 hrs. a return to full power was initiated.
2/22/81 At 0020 hrs. a power reduction was initiated due to the loss of of the A0G System control power.
Turbine generator surveillance was also completed.
At 0100 hrs. repairs were completed and a return to full power initiated.
2/28/81 At the end of the reporting period the plant was operating at 99.8% of rated thermal power.
