  • DCR NO.

10CFR50.59 SAFETY EVALUATION 1EC-0747 This design change is not safety related and does not affect any safety related systems or the safe shutdown of the unit.

lEC-0842 This design change is intended to improve system reliability.

System function in unchanged; design change will eliminate spurious circuit tripping.

1EC-0941 This change increases safety margin by increasing the rating of the transformers which supply power to designated safety auxiliaries.

Provisions for the increase were made in the original plant design and they are at this time being implemented.

1EC-1095 This modification does not involve an unreviewed safety question.

The fuses being added were not used in the calculations for any presently performed safety-analysis, further, their failure does constitute a new hazard not previously analyzed. The fuses do not enter into the logic for the basis of any of the technical specifications.

ISC-0499 These new vacuum breakers are being installed so that the original design intent of the spray additive tank may be met and in no way change the functioning capacity of the tank.

Therefore, an unreviewed safety question is not involved.

No new failure modes are introduced by the design of these breakers.

ISC-0529 This design change is not safety related and does not affect any safety related functions or the safe shutdown of the unit.
