This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. D. R. Gibbons of this office on July 7,1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material Licenses No. 22-12602-02 and No. 22-12602-03G and to the discussion of our findings with you at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
During this inspection it was noted that a commitment made by you in your December 29, 1977 response to a Notice of Violation had not been carried out. Specifically, no annual group training review has been conducted since January 10, 1978. Please respond within thirty days of receipt of this letter describing what actions you will take to insure that this retraining commitment will be kept.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection.
