O 2.0 LIMITING CONDITIONS FOR OPERATION 2.1 Reactor Coolant System (Continued) 2.1.3 Reactor Coolant Radioactivity Apolicability Applies to the radioactivity of the reactor coolant.

Objective To ensure that the reactor coolant radioactivity is maintained at a level commensurate with the occupational and public safety.

Specification (1)

The radioactivity of the reactor coolant shall be limited to:

< 2.0 pCi/gn DOSE EQUIVAIRT I-131, and a.

b.

< 100/E pCi/gm (2)

With the radioactivity of the reactor coolant > 2.0 pCi/gm DOSE EQUIVALENT I-131 but < 60 pCi/gm, operation may continue for up to 100 hours0.00116 days
0.0278 hours
1.653439e-4 weeks
3.805e-5 months
cumulative operating time under these circumstances does not exceed 800 hours0.00926 days
0.222 hours
0.00132 weeks
3.044e-4 months
in any con-consecutive 12 month period.

(3)

With the radioactivity of the reactor coolant > 2.0 pCi/gm DOSE EQUIVALENT I-131 for more than 100 hours0.00116 days
0.0278 hours
1.653439e-4 weeks
3.805e-5 months
during one continuous time interval or exceeding 60 pCi/gm, be in at least HOT SHUTDOWN with Tavg < 536 F vithin 6 hours6.944444e-5 days
0.00167 hours
9.920635e-6 weeks
2.283e-6 months
.

(h)

With the radioactivity of the reactor coolant > 100/5 pCi/gn, be in at least HOT SHUTDOWN vith Tavg < 536 F vithin 6 hours6.944444e-5 days
0.00167 hours
9.920635e-6 weeks
2.283e-6 months
.

(5)

With the radioactivity of the reactor coolant > 2.0 pCi/gm DOSE EQUIVALENT I-131, perform the sampling and analysis requirements of items 1.(a)(2)(ii) and 1.(b)(2)(1) of Table 3 h until the radioactivity of the reactor coolant is restored to within its limits. A REPORTABLE OCCURRENCE, pursuant to Specification 5 9 2, shall be submitted to the Commission. This report shall contain the results of the radioactivity analyses together with the following infomation:

l Reactor power history starting 48 hours5.555556e-4 days
0.0133 hours
7.936508e-5 weeks
1.8264e-5 months
prior to a.
