Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

On February 6, 1981, TVA submitted its initial response to C. E. Murphy's January 14, 1981,' letter which transmitted Inspection Report Nos. 50-518/80-24 and 50-520/80-24. As stated in our response, TVA has asked GE to document actions taken concerning handling ECN's and updating drawings. The GE response is not expected until late April. Accordingly, we will file our final response on this violation on or before May 31, 1981.

This letter constitutes TVA's second interim response to the aforementioned inspection report. If you have any questions, please call Jim Domer at FTS 857-2014.

To the best of by knowledge, I declare the statements contained herein are complete and true.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY
