Gentlemen:

y

Subject:

Inspection 5 0-201 / 81 - 01

This refers to your letter dated March 27, 1981, in response to our

letter dated March 4,1981.

Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions

docementsd in your letter. These actions will be examined during a

future inspection of your licensed program.

It is our understanding, based on the telephone discussion between

Mr. J. Roth of this office and Mr. C. Alday of your staff on April 1,

1981, that since you do not expect to orginate any additional shipments

of radioactive material, you do not intend to revise the transportation

section of the site Health and Safety Procedures Manual.

Instead, if

necessary, the engineer-in-charge of transportation and Manager of Health

and Safety will review each shipment of radioactive material on a case-by-

case basis as specified in your letter.

Your cooperation with us is appreciated.

Sincerely,

. .
