By letter dated January 29, 1981, Jersey Central Power & Light Company (the licensee) requested that the U. S. fluclear Regulatory
.Cemmission (the Commission) grant an extension until flovember 17, 1981, for installation of an alternate water supply tank for the fire protection system at the Oyster Creek tiuclear Generating Station located in Ocean County, tiew Jersey.
The Commission's Director of fiuclear Reactor Regulation has concluded that good cause has been shown and that such postponement will not adversely affect the health and safety of the public.
Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.4S(d), the request has been granted.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the licensee's recuest dated January 29, 1981, and (2) the Director's letter to the licensee dated February 13,-1981.
