This refers to your letter dated October 15, 1980, in response to our letter
dated September 24, 1980.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented
in your letter. These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection
of your licensed program.
In regard to your response to Item B.1, we understand, based upon a November 14,
1980 discussion between Mr. Ullrich of your staff and Mr. Cowgill of this
office, that you will emphasize the importance of performance of the negative
pressure test required before each use of respirators to all personnel who
may wear respirators, and that initial respirator training will be modified
to provide more emphasis upon the negative pressure test.
If our understanding
is incorrect, please contact this office within seven days of receipt of this
letter.
