This letter is in response to your letter of October 28, 1980, requesting a description of information obtained by NRC contractors at the Union i
Carbide Uravan Mill.
As previously discussed by Roy Person of my staff and Ken Weaver of your staff, we have recently provided funds to Argonne National Laboratories (ANL) to retrieve the data you have inquired about from computer stcrage at Argonne.

We will also be meeting with Dr. Mike Momeni of ANL on December 9,1980 i
in our Silver Spring office in order to determine if this data will be of any use in the evaluation of operations at Uravan.
You are welcome to attend the meeting between us and Dr. Momeni. However, if you are not i
able to be present, we will inform you by letter of the results of our meeting shortly after it occurs.
