Dear Sir:
The Mecklenburg County Board of Co==issioners desires to participate in tPe reopened hearings on the McGuire Nuclear Station as an _of ficial observer, pursuant to paragraph 2.715(c) of the rules and regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Co= mission.
The Board has designated Dr. ' John M. Barry to be its official observer and spokestan in these hearings. All written co==unications and docu=entation should be addressed to Dr. John M. Barry, Department of Environmental Health, 1200 Blythe Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina 28203.
