MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE REPLY BRIEF Pursuant to S2.730 of the Rules of Practice, Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. (NRDC) and the Carolina En-vironmental Study Group (CESG) request an extension of time to reply to the brief filed on December 15 by Duke Power Co.,
to enable both NRDC and CESG to file single reply briefs to the briefs supporting exceptions of Duke, the Staff, and intervenor Electric Utilities Nuclear Transportation Group.
As the Staff's and intervenor's briefs are due December 22, NRDC and CESG request that they each be permitted to file one brief in opposition to all three parties raising excep-tions within the time permitted to file a reply brief to the staff and intervenor.
