on June 10-17, 19-21, 1973, of the activities authorized by AEC Con-
struction Permit No. CPPR-34 for the Ocence 2 facility, and to the

discussien held with Mr. J. E. Smith of your staff at the conclusion

of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed

inspection report No. 50-270/73-7. Within these areas, the inspec-

tion consisted of selective examination of procedures and represent-
ative records, interviews with plant personnel, and cbservations by

the inspectors.

No violations or safety items were identified within the scope of
this inspection.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter
and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the AEC's Public
Document Rocm.
